Pari
A hybrid figure—part demon, part angel—this work presents an intrusive guardian and elusive force. Drawing from Persian miniature, the figure evokes vigilance, suspicion, and the weight of everyday observation. Installed low above the entrance, it unsettles rather than protects: a presence both celestial and earthly, caring and obstructive. Its gaze is relentless, its nearness unavoidable—a reminder that care and interference often arrive as one.
